WholesaleTurkey.org ("WT", "we") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have under GDPR and Turkish KVKK legislation.

1. Data we collect

Account data: email, name, phone, company information
Usage data: pages viewed, products searched, RFQs posted
Transaction data: order history, shipping addresses, payment metadata (no card numbers)
Communication: messages between buyers and suppliers on the platform
Technical: IP, user agent, cookies (see Cookie Policy)

2. How we use your data

To provide and operate the marketplace
To verify supplier identities and prevent fraud
To process escrow payments and deliveries
To send transactional emails (orders, disputes, verification)
To improve the platform through aggregated analytics

3. Data sharing

We never sell your personal data. We share limited data with: Stripe (payment processing), MinIO/AWS (file storage), Meilisearch (search indexing), and Sentry (error tracking). All processors are GDPR-compliant.

4. Your rights

Under GDPR and KVKK you have the right to: access your data, correct it, delete it, export it, and object to processing. To exercise any right, email privacy@wholesaleturkey.org.

5. Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Transactional records are kept for 10 years to comply with commercial law. Audit logs are kept for 7 years.
