What we measure, and how.
Environmental
Carbon-intensity estimates on every quotation, energy-use audits for Gold suppliers, and incentives for factories switching to renewables. We publish the methodology — not just the marketing.
Social
Fair-labour audits, grievance channels accessible to workers, and modern-slavery due diligence. Any supplier scoring below threshold is suspended until remediation is verified.
Governance
Anti-bribery policy with zero tolerance, public code of conduct for staff, and independent audit of our escrow flows. Board-level ownership of trust & safety outcomes.
No vanity metrics.
The ESG score is a 0–100 composite of independently verifiable signals. We publish weightings, refresh them annually, and link every score to the underlying evidence.

Five promises we will be measured on.
- Publish an annual ESG transparency report starting 2026.
- Require a social audit (BSCI / SMETA / SA8000 or equivalent) for all Gold-tier suppliers by 2027.
- Offset 110% of Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions from our own operations every year.
- Never charge a sustainability badge — ESG scoring is free for all suppliers.
- Open-source our ESG scoring model so buyers, regulators, and researchers can audit it.
